Culture Kings Introduces New Local Queensland Community Basketball Court
The international streetwear brand to host grand public opening on June 17th
June 15th, 2023, QUEENSLAND - International streetwear brand Culture Kings today announced the construction of a 28 x 15 sq/m custom made high-performance basketball court at the Caboolture Sports Complex in Queensland. The initiative is part of the company’s overarching commitment to support local communities and cultivate the next generation of basketball talent and is a testament to Culture Kings’ dedication to making a positive impact beyond the business’s core.
Recognising the importance of sports in the development of young individuals, ‘Our Court’ aims to provide a safe and accessible space to encourage active community participation in sports and embrace teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Rooted in the brand’s belief that sports can empower young individuals and instill valuable life lessons that extend far beyond the court, the brand is excited to contribute to the development of the Queensland community’s youth.
This project, positioned near Culture Kings’ Brisbane headquarters, marks the brand’s first court construction that the company hopes to replicate in other locations in the future and features a custom mural by Matt Tepaea that celebrates basketball icons like Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Josh Giddey, and more.
